The past 11th July, two EGS representatives were invited to celebrate AFG Anatomic Functional Geometry by Alberto Battistelli, Dario Severino e Oto La Manna as “Italian Excellence in the World” at the convention organized by the Senate of the Italian Republic in Rome.
A great day to congratulate Alberto Battistelli and colleagues who after years of research and studies created AFG Anatomic Functional Geometry. AFG is an innovative technique of dental modelling and memorization, based on natural shape, anatomic repetitiveness and numerical codes created. This substantial work was published in 15 languages under a book titled “AFG Modelling” in October 2010 by Teamwork-media srl.
EGS had the opportunity to support the AFG technique by developing an AFG module for DentalCad software demonstrating how the use of dental 3D technologies can enhance the work of dentists and dental technicians.
