EGS will attend MECSPE in Parma, stomach an event dedicated to technological innovations for the industry, with a wide range of solutions able to meet most of the industrial and medical fields: jewelery, manufacturing, dental, orthopedic and mold making.


At MECSPE 2016, EGS is proud to present its potential in terms of innovation and flexibility in Hall 6, stand J23 where it will present new scanning solutions and 3D editing for every need.

Thanks to the 3D scanner JScan, designed specifically for the fast and accurate acquisition of jewelry and small items, you have the ability to replicate 3D faithful copies of real objects, masters and wax models, reducing time and costs of modeling and development. Thanks to the structured blue light technology and the particular geometric arrangement of the optics, JScan is able to acquire with extraordinary precision every detail, cut or facet of precious stones and objects with complex surfaces and / or semi-reflective, which makes it an ideal scanner for 3D printing, milling and laser sintering.

There will be, also, the portable scanning solutions: Artec Artec Eva and Spider – which thanks to their small size and light weight are useful to acquire outdoors or to scan objects that can not be transported.

The scanners are available with a proprietary software for 3D scans processing, mesh editing and reverse engineering developed entirely in-house by EGS: Leios. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, Leios is a complete and easy to use tool for making direct sculpting on the mesh, 3D modeling and to generate output for CAD systems.

Available in 3 packages – for Makers, Premium and Professional – to cover the needs of all kind of users, with Leios it is possible to acquire data from any type of 3D scanner with standard output, transforming the cloud points into a NURBS mathematical model in a simple and intuitive way and analyze the results with powerful inspection tools.
